The Srinika watch

Indian jewelry company Renani Jewels has set a world record for creating a watch with the most diamonds.
The Srinika watch, weighing 373,030 grams, sparkles with 17,524 hand-cut diamonds and 113 blue sapphires within its gold frame.
The Srinika watch is inspired by ancient Indian mythology.

“Srinika” signifies the lotus blooming in the heart of the god Vishnu, and is also the middle name of the supreme Indian goddess of wealth and fortune, Lakshmi.

The initial sketches of the product, created digitally, were repeatedly reworked. Renani Jewels recreated the final design using 3D printing. The main challenge the company faced in developing the record-breaking watch was procuring an impressive number of diamonds of uniform size, color, and clarity.
