In January 2026, a vintage brooch belonging to Audrey Hepburn was sold at Sotheby’s in Paris for $425,000. The price was nearly six times the initial estimate.
Created around 1960, the brooch is a striking example of Bulgari’s high jewelry of the period.

The piece is made of gold and adorned with sapphires, emeralds, and diamonds.
After her death in 1993, the actress bequeathed the brooch to her close friend Doris Brynner (widow of actor Yul Brynner).
The piece was put up for auction after Doris Brynner’s death as part of the sale of her personal collection, “From Doris with Love.”
